Currently, Sierra Rehabilitation and Care Community is seeking a full-time TRANSPORTATION AND STAFFING COORDINATOR at their 101 bed skilled nursing community located in LAKEWOOD, CO.
The primary responsibilities of the TRANSPORTATION AND STAFFING COORDINATOR is to load, transport, and unload residents for medical appointments and activity outings in accordance with all laws and regulations. Manage resident appointments (scheduling, finding providers, insurance verifications). The position ensures adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census and following the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care and assisted living facilities. Manage call-ins or vacancies on the floor for all CNAs, LPNs, and RNs. Reports to Administrator and the Director of Activities.
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Must have valid driver’s license or valid commercial driver’s license in current state as applicable.
- Must be insurable by the company.
- Must possess CNA certification.
- Prior experience in healthcare or geriatrics preferred but not necessary.
