    Responsibilities

    Regional Operations Manager

    At WellAge, over the next two years we are designing and developing innovative community models to serve today and tomorrow’s seniors including their circle of family and friends. Upcoming locations in Colorado include Grand Junction, Carbondale, Ken Caryl, and Greeley.

    The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for leading daily WellAge mission driven expectations to influence extraordinary quality care for residents, their families and our staff. You will need to be actively engaged in critical thinking thus involved in all aspects of directing and managing our assisted living, independent living and memory care campuses. This position reports to the SVP of Operations and Development.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Business Operations and Project Management 40% time

      • Business and financial operations management to exceed goals and expectations
      • Comfortable, familiar, able to read-interpret-manage from financial statements
      • Managing multiple projects’ (communities’) timelines and details
      • Creating efficiency with effectiveness in process for multiple facility implementation
      • Develop pre-opening budgets and budgets for supplies and equipment
      • Review project timelines with ownership and teams and makes changes to meet expectations

    Start up and Community Operation 30% time

      • Develop and implement policies and procedures for each department
      • Hire Executive Director and Marketing Director as well as meet department managers candidates before hiring
      • Ability to step in as interim ED as needed

      • Work with the state on letter of intent and licensing

    Relationship and Human Capital 15% time

      • Recruiting, hiring, training and engaging campus team members
      • Build relationships with owners, managers, team members and managing expectations
      • Collaborate with home office and business partners to implement projects and holding accountable to timelines

    Sales, Marketing and Business Development 15% time

      • Hire, manage and direct sales team to exceed occupancy goals and expectations
      • Directing demand of market share with knowledge of competition and prospect market
      • Oversee the presale opening, marketing and lease up of projects
      • Oversee the market referral sources both medical and professional
      • Collaborate with marketing team for launch of brand and website development
      • Marketing, Public relations and building community awareness

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

    Executive Director experience in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory care

    Valid and in good standing Assisted Living Administrator certification

    Up-to-date, current operating knowledge of local, state and federal (if applicable) regulations

    Experience in opening new facilities

    Sales experiences and proven experience in building census

    Understanding the start-up phase and managing the launch of all technology components

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

    OTHER:

    60% travel required
