WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) under the supervision of the Staff Nurse, the CMA administers medications as prescribed by the resident’s physician and documents the administration, the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects of the medications in accordance with the established policies and procedures of their facility, current standards of practice and care and applicable state/federal regulations. As well as, to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services.

Schedules -  We offer DAY, EVENING, NOC and Weekend shifts either 8 or 12 hours at all of our communities - Part Time - Full Time - PRN

Daily Pay Advance Option Available

Holiday Pay (when working on a major holiday)

Overtime Pay available (when working over 40 hours a week or 12 hours in one business day)

Sick time pay accrual

THE MUST HAVES:

Must have successfully completed coursework and examination to obtain certification as both a Certified Nurse Assistant and Certified Medication Aide

Must obtain continuing education if required by the state to maintain certification as a CMA and must provide evidence of continued certification to the facility in a timely and accurate manner

PCC (Point Click Care) experience is a plus.

Current CPR/BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check
